Custom vehicle fabrication and practical prop construction created for studio production, combining functional design, character-driven aesthetics, and on-camera usability.
Overview
Starting from concept artwork and production requirements, we developed a large-scale vehicle build that combined automotive elements with stylized visual storytelling. The design required extensive modifications to the original structure, including custom bodywork, interior adjustments, surface finishing, and the integration of oversized brush components that became the vehicle’s defining visual feature. The result was a practical effects build capable of delivering both visual impact and reliable studio performance.

Every component was designed with both aesthetics and functionality in mind. Custom fabricated elements were integrated directly into the vehicle while preserving balance, stability, and camera-friendly proportions. Particular attention was given to surface materials, paint finishing, and scale relationships to ensure the prop felt believable on screen while retaining its whimsical and character-driven design language.
Its physical presence allowed directors, cinematographers, and performers to interact with a real object on set, creating natural reflections, shadows, and spatial relationships that would be difficult to replicate digitally. The build was designed to perform reliably during filming while preserving the visual qualities established during concept development and fabrication. The final result delivered a distinctive practical effects vehicle that combined craftsmanship, engineering, and production-ready functionality while becoming a memorable visual element of the project.
