Realistic film prosthetics and trauma effects created for close-up performance and on-set continuity.
Overview
Working closely with the production team, we translated the script requirements into practical special effects that enhanced both performance and visual storytelling. The prosthetics were designed to remain believable in close-up shots, with careful attention to skin texture, bruising, stitched details, and continuity between stages of the character’s condition.

We created custom silicone prosthetic appliances tailored to the actor’s anatomy, ensuring seamless integration with the skin. Each element was sculpted and refined to replicate realistic trauma effects, including swelling, discoloration, and stitched wounds. Every stage was optimized to achieve maximum realism in film prosthetics while maintaining durability during filming.
The final effect delivered highly realistic trauma makeup that blended seamlessly with the actor’s performance and the film’s visual language. The prosthetics held up under close-up cinematography, enhancing the emotional impact of the scenes without distracting from the story.
